About
Getting a professional portrait can be intimidating, but it doesn't need to be scary.
What should I wear? Where do I put my hands? How should I stand and am I smiling too much? I get it. I've been there.
I work in concert with my clients to create a great photo shoot experience and get the best images you have ever had of yourself and your family. We will create images that will give you that certain feeling every time you glance at it on the wall.
The process starts in the consultation stage, where you tell me what your goals are. Together, we'll build a session around what you want, how you want to be photographed, and what the result will look like hanging on your walls. We will go over wardrobe, hair and makeup, and preferred location(s).
At the session, you can expect a relaxed, fun atmosphere. You are the star of this show and you will be pampered. You don't have to worry about ''posing''. I will guide you through positioning and facial expression with demonstration. We'll talk, laugh, experiment with different setups, and generally have a great time. You may even forget you're at a photo shoot. My job is to employ lighting, composition, and perspective to enhance your best features.
Afterwards, I'll select the very best images, edit them to my exacting standards, and you will come back to select the ones you love.
I look forward to creating a special experience and heirloom images for you. -
