The store was named Choices, because every day, we all have a choice for how we live our life. Every day, our choices have an impact on others in the world, and following Jesus Christ is a choice that we hope everyone that we come in contact with will make.

Choices opened in Newton in October of 2004. We moved to our current location in December of 2010. We moved in a single weekend with a lot of faith, all hands on from our sales associates, family, and the help of many of our church family!

We love our new location, and hope that our new visibility will allow us to impact those who may not have the joy of Jesus Christ in their life. We also hope that our store will help Christian and Catholics in a deeper understanding of the Word, and equip them for the mission that God has in store for them.

Choices is owned by Larry and Julie Jones. Larry grew up in the Brooklyn, IA area, and Julie grew up near Lynnville. They have 2 children. Amanda Jones, a sophomore at the University of Iowa, and Steven, a freshman at Northwest Missouri State University (transferring to Iowa State in the fall!). We have lived in Newton since 1995, and Amanda and Steven both graduated from Newton High School.
