Event Description:
The Newton YMCA will be unveiling and dedicating a statue created by local artist Nick Klepinger. The statue was donated to the YMCA to commemorate the child care renovations which were funded by a gift from Nancy and the late EK Shaw. The public is invited to attend. A brief ceremony will take place at noon at the YMCA, 1701 S 8th Ave E. Punch & cookies will be served and guests are invited to tour the YMCA Child Care wing.
