We all hear the advice to eat more whole grains--but is that really good nutritional advice? For some, adding more grains to their diet can lead to digestive problems, weight gain and fatigue, while for others, grains help with weight loss, relieves digestive problems and increases energy. So how do you know if grains are good for YOU? Come learn about the health benefits and dangers of various grains. Learn how to prepare grains and how to use grain “ alternatives”. Gluten intolerance and Celiacs disease will be covered. A gluten-free lunch will be served after the workshop.
