West Des Moines City Council Candidate Forum

The West Des Moines Chamber invites area residents to meet the candidates running for seats on the West Des Moines City Council at a forum scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th from 6:30-8:00 pm.  The forum will be held at the West Des Moines City Hall in the Council Chambers (4200 Mills Civic Parkway). 

Candidates include; Matthew McKinney and Ryan Crane for the At-Large seat currently held by Jim Sandager, who is not seeking re-election and Greg Hudson and Erin Cubit for the second ward seat, currently held by John Mickelson, who is also not seeking re-election.

Each candidate will be given the opportunity to make individual introductory statements followed by written questions submitted by the audience.  The forum will be moderated by Therese Wielage.

The forum will be televised on the local West Des Moines government access channel.  The general public is invited to attend at no charge.
