Event Description:
Join the Greater Des Moines Partnership at the Blank Park Zoo for a fun, family-friendly evening. All new 2023 residents of the DSM USA region and their families are invited to participate. Attendees can meet and mingle with other new residents before the Wild Lights Festival begins at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served. Registration is required.
Blank Park Zoo's Wild Lights Festival presented by MidAmerican Energy Company will feature 50 handcrafted, larger-than-life, illuminated Asian lanterns. This year's festival features underwater wildlife, giant insects, mythical creatures and endangered animals. Immerse your family in a magical night of light and culture in this visually stunning festival.

The Welcome to DSM USA Reception series was created to celebrate new Greater Des Moines (DSM) residents who have chosen to build their career, future and lives in the DSM region. Attendees can meet and mingle with other new residents, while also enjoying local experiences to familiarize them with the region and to help them feel more at home in DSM.
