Event Description:

Pella, Iowa, January 19th, 2013 - GEMS is sponsoring a morning for mothers and daughters.  Author and speaker Sara Lynne Hilton will challenge and encourage girls to recognize that God has created them with a voice and a purpose - not just when they are grown, but right now.  The event will helps girls to understand that their lives matter and they are capable of so much more than what they often think.

The morning will also feature praise and worship with Colleen Reinders and Grace Moses, a service opportunity, a "mom talk" session, givewaways and refreshments.  It is designed to open dialogue between moms and their daughters about how each one of us can be activists in the world, girls will see that even small acts can lead to lasting change.
