FREE Recycling Event!
Old appliances may be trash to you, but we want them. A perfect time to retire your old appliances is on October 21 at Pella Cooperative Electric's recycling event. It is open to everyone! Bring your energy eating, old, or unused appliances to our location. Best of all, recycle them for FREE!The event will be held from 8 AM – 4 PM at the Cooperative’s office on the west side of Pella. No limitations exist on the number of items accepted, and appliances are not required to run. (Note: please do not bring appliances that are extremely weathered or rusted). Please make sure ALL food is remove from appliances before you recycle them.
What's accepted:

Household appliances: washers and dryers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, water heaters, and deep freezers.

Kitchen appliances: refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and microwaves.
