Featured Speaker: Cara Heiden

Cara Heiden is retired co-president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFHM). Heiden focused on leading WFHM to continually achieve outstanding financial goals, nationally promoting the benefits of homeownership, as well as rallying the company’s employees to fulfill on the promise to customers and clients. 

Heiden serves on the board of directors for GuideOne Insurance, Vermeer Manufacturing Company, DH Corporation, Wells Fargo Bank Iowa/Illinois advisory board, Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, Lutheran Family Services, governor for Iowa State University Foundation and member of ISU College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council. 

Before Heiden’s 30 year career with Wells Fargo, Heiden spent three years with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young. She earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial administration with honors from Iowa State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  She and her husband have three daughters.

We are thrilled to have Cara Heiden at our May Elevate breakfast as Heiden will be discussing “The Ever-Evolving Leader”,how to be great leader and find leadership opportunities at any stage of life.

Attendees are encouraged to stay for Elevate P.S. which will begin immediately after our speaker’s comments at 8:45. Elevate P.S. gives participants the opportunity to discuss relevant issues to Elevate in a small group setting with discussion questions. This discussion will end by 9:15.
