Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Walk

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The second annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event, sponsored by the Beta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the Intercultural Life at Central College, will be held to promote domestic violence awareness at Central and in the community. The walk will start at the Tulip Toren and end at Central’s football stadium- meet at 10 am. Discussion begins about the event at 10:10 am and walk start time is scheduled for 11 am. Once finished, refreshments will be served.  T-shirts will be available for purchase and donations accepted.  Proceeds go to Crisis Intervention Services to help victims of domestic violence.
