Event Description:
"Plymouth Grounds" is a coffee shop that is open to the public and is run by students at Ruby Van Meter School and volunteers. The coffee shop provides the opportunity for students to generalize and practice academic, social and work skills in a community setting. Transitioning skills from school to a naturally occurring environment in the community is an important part of the educational process for these students. The coffee shop has been in operation since 2012. They have a wide variety of coffee, drinks and pastries. We will have the satisfaction of knowing that we are helping students "brew more than coffee". What a way to start our day!
