Event Description:
The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and City of West Des Moines are excited to announce the first annual UScellular™ Best of the West Awards! Our vision is to make West Des Moines the best suburban city in America to live, work, and play and now is the time to show pride in our vibrant community. From recognizing your favorite restaurant, retail store, or favorite company to work for, the UScellular Best of the West Awards gives area businesses a chance to take a bow and be recognized.
AWARD RULES:
Fifty business categories are highlighted and the community is encouraged to vote on your favorite. You don’t have to live in WDM to vote and you can vote every day. To win and be recognized, you need to have a WDM address or be a WDM Chamber member. Winners receive a wall plaque to showcase proudly, a window cling so every customer coming through your door knows you were voted the winner, special logo to showcase on your website and the opportunity to purchase UScellular Best of the West limited edition merchandise including hats, t-shirts, quarter zips and water bottles. Voting is open from October 1st – October 23rd. Winners will be announced November 2-6 and awards pick up celebration is November 11th.
GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!
The good news is, of sponsorship proceeds, 10% will be donated to the West Des Moines Community Foundation. Their mission is to preserve and improve the quality of life in West Des Moines.
