Union Street Players, Pella's award winning community theatre, is proud to present "Bye Bye Birdie", a musical satire on American society set in 1958. The story was inspired by the phenomenon of Elvis Presley and his draft notice into the Army in 1957, and has lots of 50's nostalgia and rockabilly music. All performances will be on the stage of the Joan Kuyper Farver Auditorium in the Pella Community Center (712 Union). Performances will be held Thursday July 25 at 7pm; Friday July 26 at 7pm; Saturday July 27 at 2pm; Friday August 2 at 7pm; Saturday August 3 at 7pm; and Sunday August 4 at 2pm.
