Event Description:
We are inviting anyone interested in membership to join us on January 5 at Red Rock Chiropractic and Wellness Center to visit and ask questions about the locally owned vegetable coop. At $300 for the year, this will be $12.50 per week if we can manage to have 24 plus weeks of deliveries that we are aiming for.
Membership comes with an additional benefit, a new recipe every week related to the produce for that week.
We also wanted you to know that instead of plastic bags we are looking at using cloth shopping bags, they are earth friedly and more sturdy for the weeks when we have sweet corn.
Below is a partial list of what we hope to grow:
April- Lettuce, Radiahes, Spinach, Herbs, and Assorted Greens
May- Onions, Lettuce, Spinach, Herbs, Leeks, Rhubarb, Radishes, and Sugar Snap Peas
June- Onions, Garlic, Herbs, Leeks, Potatoes, Mulberries, Ground Cherries, Green Beans, Cucumbers, cabbage, and Peppers
July- Sweet Corn, Onions, Garlic, Herbs, Leeks, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Green Beans, Cabbage, Zucchini, and Cucumbers
August- Sweet Corn, Onions, Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Spaghetti Squash,Herbs, Leeks, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Green Beans and Peppers
September- Sweet Potatoes, Shallots, Peppers, Zucchini, Spaghetti Squash, Onions, Potatoes
October-Pie Pumpkins, Carving Pumpkins, Ornamental and Edible Squash, Indian Cron and More
