This presentation provides  a current  overview of the many legal requirements governing employers and offers practical advice regarding:  best practices to avoid legal claims;   what to do if an employee complains about a legal issue or files a claim; and how to proceed if a governmental regulatory agency shows up at  your door. 
Jaki K. Samuelson is a member attorney at Whitfield & Eddy Law in Des Moines, Iowa.
As an employment law attorney and litigator, Jaki is focused on solutions for her diverse clientèle including medical and medical supply, retail, agricultural products and cooperatives, banking, manufacturing, non-profit, restaurant, insurance, nursing homes, construction, international and foreign businesses.
