Speakers:
Outhay Lovan (pronounced O-tie) is the Chief Strategy Officer at VizyPay. She has been with VizyPay since November ’21. Her journey started a bit differently than some employees. She watched VizyPay on social media on the sidelines for what seemed to be a long time, and then finally took the leap and went for it! Completely out of her comfort zone, and now here she is. As the Chief Strategy Officer, her goal is to the scale and grow the organization through strategy. She is involved in all areas of the company, working closely with each business unit and their team’s strategy and growth map.
She’s passionate about all things People Strategy, the familiar term is Human Resources. With her 15+ years of experience in HR, her goal is to grow and realign the traditional Human Resources cycle with what aligns with VizyPay’s culture. The direct team that she leads is VizyPay’s People Strategy - a team that focuses on the internal and external employee experience. A mother of 4 with twin teenagers, she is definitely keeping busy!
CEO & Founder of Blue Compass, Drew Harden has grown and guided the company from a two-person start-up in 2007 to one of the Midwest's leading digital marketing companies today. He speaks at conferences around the country, has been cited by publications like USA Today, and has led web projects for clients like Spalding Sports Equipment, NAPA Autoparts, and the NFL. Drew is a published author, and recently launched his latest book: RETAIN - How to Create an Incredible Company Culture That No One Wants to Leave.
Lori Gelhaar is the Chief Operating Officer at Bing Bang, a marketing company in Waukee, where she oversees company operations while building a highly inclusive culture to ensure team members thrive and outcomes are met. Lori is a University of Northern Iowa graduate and has experience in the areas of entrepreneurship, higher education, recruiting, sales and marketing. She co-founded the start-up company Emory Industrial Services – a leading provider in eco-friendly industrial services throughout the U.S. Prior experience includes leadership roles as a division manager for Palmer Group and as a national director and instructor for Kaplan University. Lori also serves on a wide variety of local boards and councils in the Des Moines area and is a past recipient of the Business Record’s Forty Under 40. Outside of work, you can find Lori attending her kids' activities, spending time with friends and family, traveling, getting in some lake time or enjoying a drink or two on a patio.
