This Top Five series will feature experts in human resources, marketing, accounting, IT and others. They will introduce five things on certain topic that will help you be successful in your small business.

Many small business owners spend so much time and energy serving their current customers and trying to reach new ones that they have little energy left to focus on building their business structure to support the growth they work hard to achieve. The result is often inefficiency, frustration and a general feeling of chaos. We will talk about why focusing on your business as an organization is so critical to your success and steps you can take right now to start eliminating the chaos, maximizing your profitability and building sustainability for the future.

Josh Dunwoody is the owner and founder of Tactical Advantage Business Solutions. His work is focused on helping business owners and leaders create clarity from the chaos that often comes with owning and operating a business. His experience in strategic planning, holistic business development and process development are derived from his work in many different kinds and sizes of organizations. He also holds a Master?s Degree in Organizational Leadership.

When he is not working with business leaders, you might find him serving in the Iowa Army National Guard where he is a Battalion Plans Officer for the 1-168 Infantry Battalion. Josh is also very active in his church where he serves as a connection group leader with his wife and in his local community where he serves on the Board of Directors for the Altoona Area Chamber of Commerce, the planning committee for the annual Altoonapalooza celebration, and coaches youth baseball and soccer.

He is married to the love of his life, Kristin, and has 3 incredible kids ? Klaryssa, Wyatt, and Hailey.
