Event Description:
The traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Museum will be arriving on April 30th, and assembled and staged on May 1st at Maytag Park, 301 S 11th Ave W. On Thursday, May 2nd the wall will be open to the public beginning at sunrise. An official opening ceremony will commence at 6:00 PM and the American Legion will hold a free will offering supper from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Legion. On Friday, May 3rd, the Legion will host a pork & beef feed from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. The last day to view the wall is on Saturday, May 4th.
