Join over 150 high school interns, apprentices and future interns from across the Des Moines metro for the 2nd annual career development program, The Legacy Project: Career Ready Collective. Over the course of six weeks, participants will be inspired by nationally recognized keynote speakers, develop professional skills and have the opportunity to network with peers and business professionals from across the region. Programming will be Fridays from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. at Principal, with an optional lunch at noon.
Participants who are 18 or parent/guardians of minor participants can click on the link above to sign the electronic permission form and click the red 'Register Now' button above to register. Please verify the home address is correct during registration. Participants will be awarded a certificate and $50 stipend per content event attended (max. $250) at the duration of the program and will be mailed out if not in attendance at the celebration luncheon.
The Career Ready Collective is funded by the Legacy Project, a fundraising initiative of the Principal Charity Classic with support from Sammons Financial. The curriculum and program have been developed by The Greater Des Moines Partnership with support from The Robert D. and Billie Ray Center with Drake University. The program is also sponsored by The Mutual Group and Wellmark.

  • Celebration Luncheon, Certificate Ceremony and Small Group Reflection
