Tassel Ridge Winery's Red Wine Lovers' Dinner and Tasting

Join us for a very special dinner evening beginning at 6 pm with a visit to the cellar where Jonita will take tastes of our 2012 Tawny Finalé and 2013 Tawny Finalé directly from the barrels. We will discuss how this wine is made, and you will be able to see the difference one year of barrel ageing makes. Dinner (at 6:30 pm) will feature glasses of 2009, 2010, and 2012 Iowa Marquette. Our meal will start with a Spinach and Arugula Salad with Dried Cherries, Goat Cheese, and Toasted Walnuts with a Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing. The entrée will be a Roasted Petite Shoulder Tender with a Crispy Polenta Cake and Seasonal Vegetables. For dessert, we will serve our new Chocolate Granfinalé Bread Pudding. Jonita will share with us the difference in wine making techniques used on the 2009, 2010, and 2012 vintages. Advance prepaid, non-refundable reservations required by Thursday, July 17.
