Event Description:

Stephanie Lanter is currently  Ceramics Instructor at Emporia State University in Kansas.  Previously, she was visiting Donald B. and Twila Catron Professor of Art at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, Artist in Residence for two years at Red Lodge Clay Center in Montana, and a Visiting Artist and Adjunct Instructor of Ceramics for three years at Wichita State University in Kansas. She received an MFA from Ohio University in Athens in 2002 and a BA from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 1998. She has exhibited her ceramic, fiber, and mixed media sculpture nationally and published articles in journals such as Kerameiki Techni and Ceramics, Art and Perception. There will be an artist talk and reception on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 5:00pm in the gallery.
