The State Marching Band Contest is put on by the Pella Community School District. The following schools will be performing: North Mahaska, Highland-Riverside, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Colax-Mingo, PCM, Pekin, Cardinal-Eldon, Mid-Prairie-Wellman, Davis County, Albia, Washington, Williamsburg, Centerville, Oskaloosa, Knoxville, Grinnell, Ottumwa and Pella.
