Event Description:
The Pella Community High School is hosting the State Marching Band Competition on Saturday, October 19 at the Pella Community High School fooball auditorium. Gates open at 8:30 am with the first band performing at 9:50 am, the last band concluding at approximately 4 pm. 18 area bands will be performing for a I, II or III rating including the following schools: North Mahaska, Highland-Riverside, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Colfax-Mingo, PCM, Pekin, Cardinal-Eldon, Mid-Prairie-Wellman, Davis County, Albia, Washington, Williamsburg, Centerville, Oskaloosa, Knoxville, Grinnell, Ottumwa and Pella. The Pella Marching Dutch take the field at 2:20 pm. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and FREE for children 5 and under.
