Event Description:
Come and learn how to get started with the square foot gardening technique, from raised bed construction to planting schemes and schedules!  This series of programs will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays during the summer of 2012.  Programs will be held on May 19th, June 30th, July 28th, August 25th, and September 22nd on site at the garden, across the street from the County Annex Building at 115 N 2nd Ave. E, Newton.  This unique gardening approach is designed for small, urban landscapes and is a proven method for producing high quantities in limited spaces.  The square foot gardening method is easy, fun, efficient, and appropriate for gardeners of all ages and skill levels.  We can’t wait to see you there!  All programs are FREE and open to the public.
