Residential E-Cycling Day
The combined efforts of the City of Pella, Vermeer Corporation, Pella Corporation, PPI, Gleason & Associates, Midwest Sanitation and Rosenman's Inc has resulted in the 10th Annual Earth Day Electronic Waste Recycling Day for residents. On April 12th local households can bring their old electronics in to be recycled in an environmentally safe and secure manner. From 9:00a-12:00p items can be dropped off at Pella Corporation’s parking lot at the Clark & South St. intersection. All items will be professionally processed by Midwest Electronic Recovery.
Acceptable items include:
Computer Monitors, PCs, Laptops, TVs, Cell Phones, Keyboards, Printers, Cameras
*No appliances, microwaves, tires,paint or oil!
There will be no charge for residents to drop off acceptable items however donations will be accepted. Proceeds will be used to promote environmental stewardship through a grant program available to local schools.
We are not able to accept items in advance. All items must be dropped off during the event only. Also, due to federal regulations, we are not able to accept items from businesses, schools, churches or other organizations. For more information on Pella’s Residential eCycle event please call 628-4571.
