POSTPONED - Southridge Hunger Challenge

Friends of the SHC,
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen complications, we are postponing the Southridge Hunger Challenge to early 2015. We apologize for the late notice and change. However, we hope that the extra time will help us to alleviate any further complications so that we can have the best SHC yet! Thank you very much for your understanding. Show your Community Pride and Battle to Defeat Hunger in Des Moines!

Grab your friends, co-workers, neighbors, family members, and/or complete strangers, to form a team of 10, and compete in the most adrenaline pumping charity event on the Southside - the Southridge Hunger Challenge! Each team will be packing meals that will support families in need this holiday season. Your tema will race against others to see who can pack the fastest.

Compete in a fun, party-like atmosphere in an elimination style competition. Show your Southside - and team - pride by showing creativity with your apparel! The team with the most creative pride will receive a prize.

All nutritious, vitamin-fortified meals that are to be packed during this Outreach, Inc, meal packaging event will go directly to Bidwell Riverside, the YMCA Supportive Housing Campus, Central Iowa Shelter and Services, DMARC Food Pantry, and other local organizations dedicated to feeding people in need RIGHT HERE in Des Moines!
