As anyone who reads the news already knows, data security and privacy are growing concerns for businesses across the country, drawing additional scrutiny from both the public and regulatory agencies. DMACC has arranged experts from the BrownWinick Law Firm and Integrity Technology Systems will provide an overview of key privacy laws and data security issues affecting businesses in Iowa and some initial guidance on how to start protecting yourself in the digital world, including:
 Trends in data security risks and attacks.
  • Recommended security measures and best practices.
  • Overview of privacy laws and recent developments, including the need for privacy policies.
  • Summary of data breach notification requirements in Iowa in the event of a data breach.
