Event Description:
Pella Area Quilters Guild will hold their meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 6 PM in room 101 at Third Reformed Church, 708 E. 13th St. Pella, IA. It will be their Christmas celebration and Potluck. The program will be presented by Debi Henninger. She explores the fascinating world of the depression-era hobo through the culture's hidden language. Quilter and shop owner Debra G. Henninger has taken more than 55 authentic "hobo signs" and created original quilt blocks and published a book on this subject. Members of the Pella Area Quilters Guild have a wide range quilting abilities and interests and welcomes guests and new members to every meeting. A time is provided for show and tell of projects.
