Nonprofit organizations, like any organization, need meaningful reporting to make good decisions. In addition to being easy to use and up to date, reports should be easily accessible. We will discuss benefits and principles of good dashboard design as well as provide some suggestions on how to decide what to measure.

Jessica
Richter, CPA, CITP, CISA has over 20 years of experience providing audit, tax and consulting services for telecommunications companies, data center entities, school districts, colleges and universities, state agencies, municipalities and other not-for-profit organizations. Jessica’s focus includes financial reporting and auditing, financial projections and forecasts, cost allocations, revenue assurance, loan applications, Single Audit (Uniform Guidance), and business consulting.





The FuseDSM Non-Profit Forum is a group of members representing non-profits and associations who meet monthly to discuss issues impacting their organization, creating a larger unified impact on members of our community.
 
  • This is a benefit for FuseDSM members who represent non-profits and associations.
  • There is no charge for being in the group as a member
  • A contract and non-disclosure agreement is signed to maintain confidentiality.
  • Regular attendance is encouraged.
  • Participation is not limited to the individual’s title or how many people attend within their organization.
  • Members contribute one (1) win from the month.
  • Each member gives a hot topic and discussion will follow.
  • One takeaway is given at the end of the meeting.
  • Educational speakers are brought in for part of the meeting.  Once the speaker is finished he/she leaves the meeting.

The Non-Profit Forum typically meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Due to the current pandemic, there have been conflicts with many of our members participating in the group. While the meetings remain virtual, we are attempting to move the day of the week to find a better fit for all those participating.
