Event Description:

The Greater Des Moines Partnership is partnering with Pro Iowa to host the first Multicultural Reception in nearly 17 months. The event will take place at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater and in conjunction with a Des Moines Menace Game at Valley Stadium. Attendees will learn about the efforts to transform the Dico Superfund Site Downtown DSM into the Pro Iowa Soccer Stadium and Global Plaza.  We will also share more information about how these new places can be used in a way that builds unity and celebrates the global nature of soccer while bringing together people from all nationalities and backgrounds. 
 
Reception: 5 – 6:30 p.m. 
Enjoy beverages and appetizers while networking with other professionals from the Greater Des Moines (DSM) region. This is a great opportunity to build new relationships with others who are passionate about building an inclusive community. 

Des Moines Menace Game: 7 p.m. 
Watch the Des Moines Menace Game at Valley Stadium. Tickets will be provided to those who are interested in watching the game. This is an optional event.
