MOXIE Plus

MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) Plus is a group of member business Owners/Presidents who meet monthly with Greg Thompson, ActionCoach, to discuss issues impacting their businesses. All member Business Owners/Presidents are invited to participate.  Everyone must sign a confidentiality clause.  Business Owners of businesses in business for 3-years or less must participate in Strategic Startup from Chaos to Control prior to participation in MOXIE Plus.  Contact Chamber staff for details of this free program.

This month's speaker is member owner Cody Hopper, owner of Chick-Fil-A on Merle Hay.  Chick Fil A's company culture has been featured in lots of articles and books.  In Dee Ann Turner’s  book, It’s My Pleasure: The Impact of Extraordinary Talent and Compelling Culture, she shares the secret sauce of Chick-fil-A’s highly effective business model that began over 60 years ago by founder Truett Cathy. Truett created something incredibly special at Chick-fil-A, but Turner also notes that he had the wisdom and humility to create something bigger than himself: an enduring culture that values people above everything else.
