MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) is a group of member business Owners who meet monthly with ActionCoach, Greg Thompson, to discuss issues impacting their businesses.
This month's featured speaker is Christy Jones, Owner of R. Jones Collision and Clint Dudley, Owner of Shade Tree Auto to speak about their experience going through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program April-June, 2019. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is offered for free as a philanthropic investment to help small business entrepreneurs create growth, jobs and economic opportunity across the country. They have over 7,900 graduates from all fifty states, including Iowa.
The three-month class covers everything from identifying growth opportunities, refining operations processes, marketing and selling, understanding and using financial statements and leadership training.
Jones & Dudley will provide attendees with first-hand experience of what it was like to go through the program and bring tips and information about some of the things she learned and how it impacted their businesses.

| Christy Jones, Owner of R Jones Collision 1 has been helping customers through the collision claim process since 2001. Christy is a second generation owner, who bought the business from her Father and Uncle in 2015. As someone who has grown up, worked in, and purchased a family owned business, Christy brings a wealth of knowledge to her employees and customers each day. She serves as an ambassador for her customers. She takes a hands on approach by educating them about the collision repair process. Christy can sum up her dedication to collision repair with this service statement: Our customers feel safe and secure trusting their vehicle to the care of our knowledgeable employees who produce quality repairs. Clint founded Shade Tree Auto in 2001 and grew the company with strong support from the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. Focusing on repair and maintenance for import and domestic vehicles, Shade Tree has been named one of the top 100 small businesses in the country by the US Chamber of Commerce, received the Bronze Company of the Year at the International Business Awards, and was named the 2018 Company of the Year for small retail at the American Business Awards in New York. Clint is also a graduate of the Community Leadership Program through the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and was named a Forty Under 40 in 2016.
Clint and his wife Mindy currently live in West Des Moines with their two children, Molly and Henry.
