Event Description:

MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) is a group of member business Owners/Presidents who meet monthly with Christy Jones, ActionCoach, to discuss issues impacting their businesses. All member Business Owners/Presidents are invited to participate.  Everyone must sign a confidentiality clause.

At the end of the June MOXIE, we will take some time to all talk about the fond memories we have from our time knowing Greg Thompson.  Greg took a chance with the Chamber and agreed to volunteer his time to lead MOXIE 15 years ago.  He has made such an impact on so many business owners across Central Iowa and will be missed.  We invite you to come, connect, learn and share this month.  

Educational Topic for June:
Securing business data for small to midsize businesses
Ben Jensen with LaunchIT will present on tools small to midsize business can implement to secure business data such as:

  • Multifactor authentication

  • Email security measures, such as robust spam filters, encryption protocols, and employee education on recognizing phishing attempts. 

  • Tested backups

  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) system on all company-owned devices.
