FuseDSM Monthly Luncheons 

The FuseDSM Monthly Luncheon will typically be held on the 2nd Thursday of every month, however, this month due to Veteran's Day, the date is moved to a Wednesday. Each month the Chamber invites a dynamic speaker to provide timely information affecting our community, insight on issues concerning the community, or inspirational stories which resonate within the community. 

There is networking time prior to the start of the program and lunch being served. This is the monthly event you do not want to miss to maintain those important relationships with your fellow members. 

My Life in Skateboarding

From the streets of Edison, New Jersey, to the beaches of Southern California, to a skatepark on the Des Moines River, and all around the world, this is Mike's life in skateboarding.
The largest open skatepark in the nation sits right here in our city, the Lauridsen Skatepark. The opening of this skatepark brought the 2021 Dew Tour to our city. It also brought a professional skateboarder, Mike Vallely, across the country who now calls Des Moines "HOME". Join us at the November Monthly Luncheon to hear Mike's story.

I recently moved to Iowa from Southern California with my family, and we operate our skateboard company out of our home here in Des Moines. Parking: There is a City of Des Moines Parking Ramp across the street and metered street parking. They do have Valet with underground parking, if you choose to utilize it, but it is not included with registration.
