Mark your calendar for Meals from the Heartland’s MLK Day Packaging Event on January 20, 2025! 

Two Locations to Package in the Des Moines Metro:

  • Meals from the Heartland Packaging Center (520 volunteers needed)
  • Polk County River Place (135 volunteers needed)

With multiple shifts throughout the day, there’s plenty of opportunity to make a difference. Sign up and help us fight hunger in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
