Local Business School: The Power of Print with Debborah Harp will explore how printing and the use of environmental decor to attract and engage customers, increase revenues and improve employee retention and recruitment.
About the Speaker:
Debborah Harp, CFRE is the Director of Strategy and Business Development for Beeline and Blue, one of largest commercial printing companies in the Midwest. Ms. Harp helps develop and execute creative ways to publicize and advance a message or brand for public and private companies and nonprofits of all sizes. Beeline and Blue clients use printing, graphics and environmental décor to attract and engage customers, increase revenues and improve employee retention and recruitment.
In her previous position, Ms. Harp was a Regional Operations Manager for Deer Oaks – The Behavioral Health Solution where she was responsible for business development and account management for five states. Prior to that, she worked in healthcare and education, most recently as the Executive Director of the American Veterinary Medical Foundation.
Ms. Harp has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She brings with her years of experience in fundraising, marketing/communications and operations management at national medical associations and educational institutions including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Erikson Institute, Radiological Society of North America and the CHEST Foundation. Earlier in her career, Ms. Harp worked in television production and corporate communications as a writer, producer and director.
Local Business School aims to teach attendees the ropes of today’s most effective marketing strategies that they can use to grow their local business in Greater Des Moines (DSM) and throughout Iowa. From building a strong social media strategy to creating a winning website, the program brings in subject matter experts from across the region to give attendees the best tools to leverage in 2022 and beyond. Local Business School was started by Emily Steele, owner of Love Local.
