Local Business School: Social Media in 2022: How to Maximize Your Social Media Presence with Angela Lose will examine the basics of social media and the importance of keeping your audience engaged.

About the Speaker:
Angela Lose, Marketing & Engagement Coordinator at Orchestrate Hospitality, coordinates guest engagement for 9 restaurant brands, developing social media content, fielding customer feedback and initiating a number of marketing campaigns.

Her previous roles include reporting at KCCI 8 News and working on the communications team for Iowa’s Secretary of State. After graduating from Grand View University as a triple communications major, she landed her role in hospitality with Orchestrate. She serves as Chair of Grand View’s Young Alumni Council and as a member of the Iowa Restaurant Association Education Foundation board.

As a DSM native, she loves supporting local and being apart of the great community our city has to offer.

Local Business School aims to teach attendees the ropes of today’s most effective marketing strategies that they can use to grow their local business in Greater Des Moines (DSM) and throughout Iowa. From building a strong social media strategy to creating a winning website, the program brings in subject matter experts from across the region to give attendees the best tools to leverage in 2022 and beyond. Local Business School was started by Emily Steele, owner of Love Local.
