Lake Red Rock presents Spring Wildflower Walk
Name:
Lake Red Rock presents Spring Wildflower Walk
Date:
April 18, 2015
Time:
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM CDT
Event Description:
Join a park ranger for a leisurely walk along a woodland trail to look for signs of spring! Wildflowers will be the highlight as we search for Jack-in-the pulpit, dutchman's breeches, Virginia bluebells, and other spring "ephemerals" - this term means "short-lived," and it describes these flowers well because they have a short bloom time. You won't want to miss them! Free activity, reservations not needed. Program will be cancelled if raining. Meet at South Tailwater at 10 am. Contact 641-628-8690 with any questions.
