Lake Red Rock presents Iowa's Feathered Chorus

You hear them singing all the time and see their brilliant colors as they fly by, but how much do you really know about songbirds? Learn some common species in Iowa and learn to identify them by listening to their songs and seeing their "field marks." Then put your new knowledge to the test on a hike to spot some of these beautiful animals. Finish off the activity by constructing your very own bird house or bird feeder to take home! Meet at 9 am, North Overlook Beach area's Playscape (on the north end of the parking lot).
