Whitebreast Campground Amphitheater, 9 pm: In March of 1969, the Des Moines River Valley changed forever as the newly constructed Red Rock Dam closed its gates for the first time, creating the reservoir we know as Lake Red Rock. Join a park ranger to learn about how the dam was built, how it works today, and how it will undergo another transformation to generate hydropower in the near future.
