Want something exciting to do after Thanksgiving? Come to Lake Red Rock for a nice peaceful hike on Black Friday morning instead of going shopping in the crowded stores! The hike offers a great excuse to get outdoors and wear off some calories from a big Thanksgiving meal. It's also a great opportunity to watch for and learn more about fall's local plants and animals. Participants will be hiking woodland and prairie trails. It may be cold in the morning, so plan to dress accordingly. Meet at the Volksweg trailhead by Howell Station (near the pond off 198th Place) at 10 am.
