Event Description:
It's World-Wide Knit in Public Day on June 12, and Pella Regional's Auxiliary is inviting all knitters to come to the hospital on Wednesday, June 12 from 9 am to noon to knit or crochet lap robes for our Long Term Care Residents. These special gifts to residents will be used this summer and fall at Pella Regional, and residents will be able to take the lap robes with them as they transition to their new home with WesleyLife or elsewhere late this year.
Interested knitters should enter Pella Regional through the main hospital door. Knitting will take place in the volunteer room. For more information, contact Angie Lyng at 641-621-2362.
