WINPRO Founder Bill Bernardo to speak at Square One DSM Startup Stories
Bill Bernardo, Founder of WINPRO, will be the guest speaker at the July Square One DSM Startup Stories event. Startup Stories is a monthly networking event geared toward entrepreneurs, investors and those interested in entrepreneurship that features an interview-style presentation with Square One DSM Executive Director Mike Colwell. The July event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19 at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, 700 Locust St.
WINPRO is a line of soft chews for active and athletic dogs. These supplements promote healthy canine performance, physical stamina and mental focus. WINPRO dog chews were created when Bernardo partnered with Uckele Health & Nutrition, a manufacturer with more than 50 years of experience in creating quality animal health products. Prior to founding WINPRO, Bernardo most recently worked as President and Chief Operating Officer at APC. Prior to that, he founded NEWSTUF, which was focused on creating disruptive new products within the branded U.S. consumer products space.
Bernardo will talk about how he came up with the idea to create WINPRO and the experiences that led him to start the company. Colwell will begin the presentation by interviewing Bernardo and will then open up questions from the audience.
