Independence Day Activities in Pella
· 9:30-11:30 am Fishing at Caldwell Park (fishing poles and bait provided)
· 10:00 am-1:00 pm Tours of Vermeer Windmill, Gardens, and gift shop; Tours of Scholte House and Gardens (serving lemonade and cookies)
· 9:30 am-1:00 pm Pony rides in Central Park
· 11:00 am-1:00 pm Games and Activities in Central Park (Frog jumping contests, ladder golf, gunny sack races, Badminton, Bean Bag toss, dunk tank, inflatables– sponsored by Marion County Bank)
· 1:30 -3:00 pm Parade down Franklin Street from Scholte Church to West Market Park
· 4:00-7:00 pm Swimming at Aquatic Center
· 7:00-8:00 pm Entertainment in Central Park at Tulip Toren– City Band and Singers
· 9:30 pm Fireworks– lit east of Madison School
· All day: Patriotic music & food stands
