The Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations is pleased to announce the eighth evening in our 2017-2018 Speakers Series on Tuesday, April 10th. Our special guest is Constanze Stelzenmüller, Robert Bosch Senior Fellow - Foreign Policy, Center on the United States and Europe - at the Brookings Institution. Her work explores transatlantic relations; the European Union’s foreign, security, and defense policies; and international law.
The Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing public dialogue on foreign relations. Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations holds monthly meetings featuring a speaker on topics of various aspects of foreign policy and international issues. Our meetings are held at Wakonda Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa.
Established as a program of the Council on Foreign Relations in 1938, American Committees on Foreign Relations became its own association in 1995 and established headquarters in Washington, D.C. Comprised of more than 30 local affiliates around the country, American Committees on Foreign Relations promotes dialogue between civic leaders and policy makers and other foreign relations experts through lecture-discussions and other civic forums.
