Greater Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations Speaker Series — A. Kadir Yildirim (POSTPONED)

We are now taking reservations for our next meeting which will be held Tuesday, March 17th. A. Kadir Yildirim will be speaking on American Foreign Policy in a Changing Middle East. Dr. Yildirim is a Fellow for the Middle East at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy. His main research interests include politics and religion, political Islam, politics of the Middle East and Turkish politics. He is currently writing his second book and has been published in journals and written opinion pieces appearing in the Washington Post.
Our meeting will be held at Wakonda Club: 3915 Fleur Drive.
Appetizers and drinks will begin at 5:30pm.
The speaker will be introduced at 6:15pm.
