Go Global: Innovations in Exporting Conference

Iowa Innovation Gateway, its partners and the Iowa Department of Economic Development are hosting an Innovations in Exporting  Conference  October 28th from 8 a.m. to 2.p.m. at Vermeer Global Pavilion in Pella.  Participants will hear from panels of individuals experienced in many different aspects of exporting.  Topics covered will include international business development, contracting and success stories.  The conference will be of interest to those who currently export and to those who want to learn more about the world of exporting.   Awards for excellence in exporting will be presented during the conference to several Central Iowa companies.
Mary Andringa, President and CEO of Vermeer Corporation, will provide the keynote address.   Andringa is the Chair of the National Association of Manufacturers and a member of the President’s Export Council.  The cost of the conference is $30 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch; there is a discount available for students.  To register and learn more about the conference, go to www.iowainnovationgateway.org.
