Event Description:
genYP members! Join us for this great event and help Rebuilding Together at the same time!
For the second year in a row, genYP is partnering with Rebuilding Together to help someone in need. Rebuilding Together is the leading volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled, and families with dependent children. There is no cost to qualified homeowners for the services provided. Since 1995, Rebuilding Together Greater Des Moines has improved 1,300+ homes through the efforts of approximately 18,000 volunteers.
More details on this project, the homeowner and how to help will be given a little later. But we know we need to raise funds in order to make this a success so that is why we are having this event now!
Wednesday, May 14th
Urbandale Hy-Vee Market Grille PATIO (corner of 86th Street and Douglas Ave)
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (come and go as you please)
4:30-5:30 pm: Wine sampling and appetizers
5:30 pm: Wine education session-learn more about wine and ask some questions
For only $20, you receive four wine samples (two white and two red), appetizers and educational session!
BONUS: Sushi and bottles of wine will be half price during this event!!
