Meet our CEOs

Steve Casteel was born in Sacramento, California, and moved to Des Moines at age six, where he grew up on the city’s east side. He graduated from Southeast Polk High School and earned a degree in Information Systems with a minor in Finance from Drake University.

Steve and his wife, Sabrina, have been married for 21 years and have four children: twins Amelia and Abigail, Alexander, and Arianna. In his free time, he enjoys coaching baseball, golfing with his son, and cheering on his youngest daughter at dance competitions.

An entrepreneur for more than 30 years, Steve has founded over 25 businesses since starting his first at age 16. He currently owns five businesses and serves as Founder and CEO of Payteva, where he has worked in the fintech industry since 2013. He also serves on the Iowa Restaurant Association board and has volunteered with Hope Ministries as an M25 Volunteer for the past 14 years.


Karie Kading Ramsey is a dynamic CEO, strategic thinker, and compassionate advocate for people and places. As CEO of Kading Properties, she leads one of Iowa’s largest providers of workforce housing, managing nearly 3,000 residential units statewide.

Through bold leadership and an unwavering commitment to putting people first, Karie has transformed Kading into a thriving, mission-driven company and a model for how affordable housing can be both community-focused and financially sustainable. Her work centers on partnering with communities, empowering her team, and challenging outdated perceptions of what affordable living looks like—all while continuing to grow without losing sight of the people it serves.


As Executive Director of Mind & Spirit Counseling Center, Amy Doyle leads strategic growth, supports the Board, and oversees daily operations alongside the Leadership Team to foster a strong workplace and deliver impactful mental health services.

She brings a diverse background as a leader, entrepreneur, and attorney, with experience in both nonprofit and corporate sectors. After graduating from Drake Law, Amy practiced consumer protection law before moving into corporate compliance with Principal and Aviva. She has led operations for EMBARC, helped raise $20 million for Iowa’s first behavioral health campus at YSS, and co-founded a startup that scaled nationally before its sale. She now provides consulting and fractional COO services focused on growth, infrastructure, and team development.

Amy is driven by purpose, value learning and pride, and find joy in meaningful work, her two children, and staying connected to her community.


David Siebert was named CEO of NCMIC in 2025, bringing nearly 30 years of company experience to the role. He began his career in 1995 as a claims representative and has since held a variety of leadership roles, including Litigation Consultant, Assistant Vice President, Senior Vice President, and President of NCMIC Insurance Company.

Over the years, David has led strategic initiatives across NCMIC’s insurance and agency operations, overseeing programs for chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, physicians, dentists, and attorneys. He has driven growth, strengthened partnerships, and helped enhance profitability - all while staying rooted in the company’s mission. Known for his authentic leadership style and collaborative approach, David is committed to supporting healthcare professionals and guiding NCMIC’s continued evolution.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and began his career at Crawford & Company. He serves as Board President for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. David and his family live in Urbandale, Iowa.


Tricia Rivas is a visionary consultant, lifelong entrepreneur, and unapologetic small business cheerleader.

With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry and small business development, she helps mission-driven business owners align their culture with their big, bold visions.

She doesn’t do fluff, and she’s not your accountability buddy, she’s the one who rolls up her sleeves, sits beside you, and maps out a path that finally matches the passion in your head and heart. ​

Tricia is especially passionate about supporting rural business owners, nonprofits, creative thinkers, and community-centered brands who are ready to stop playing small.

When she’s not helping businesses realign, you can find her leading her award-winning salon, Trixies Salon & Spa, serving those experiencing hair loss, or cruising rural Iowa with a cup of local coffee and a head full of new ideas.
