Event Description:
How much do YOU know about the Iowa Caucus process? The 2020 Iowa Caucuses will take place on February 3rd. Regardless of your political views, caucusing in Iowa is a big deal. Join us to learn the history of caucusing in Iowa, and run through both a mock Democratic caucus and mock Republican caucus led by local party leaders all while enjoying some custom cocktails. Democratic facilitator: Kevin Geiken (Executive Director for Iowa Democrats). Republican facilitator: Gloria Mazza (former Executive Director of the Republican Party of Polk County). Information + mock caucus from 4-5pm, cocktails and networking 5-5:30pm.
